Charles White Whittlesey (1884-1921) Collection, 1905-1948; Olive drab cotton (?) three-quarter-length trench coat, lined with wool, with a collar, pockets, and belt. Worn by Major Charles W. Whittlesey, 77th division, 308th infantry in the United States Army in World War I, ca. 1918.
