Charles White Whittlesey (1884-1921) Collection, 1905-1948; Olive drab cotton khaki cloth coat, breast pockets. Part of the 'Rookie Uniform' worn while Major Charles W. Whittlesey, U.S. Army 308th infantry, was training in the military training camp at Plattsburgh, New York where he graduated in 1916.
